Warning concerning a fraud scheme misusing the name of the management company Nordea Investment Funds S.A.

The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) warns the public of the fraudulent activities misusing the name of the management company, Nordea Investment Funds S.A. Unknown people make unsolicited contact with potential investors and present themselves as “Nordea Asset Management”, offering notably a so-called savings account called “Compte ALPHA” or investments in senior residences. In doing so, they send emails in the address format Firstnameinitial.Surname@nordea-am.com and/or Firstnameinitial.Surname@nordea-ifs.com and misuse the name, logo and address of the management company, Nordea Investment Funds S.A., duly authorised in Luxembourg pursuant to Chapter 15 of the Law of 17 December 2010 relating to undertakings for collective investment and subject to the CSSF’s supervision.
The CSSF would like to point out that the management company, Nordea Investment Funds S.A., is not related to these activities.
