SAQ Specialised PFS – New eDesk procedure

In the context of the introduction of new means of communication for requests or reportings by professionals of the financial sector, specialised professionals of the financial sector authorised as UCI administrators and/or as professional depositaries of assets other than financial instruments are invited to submit their annual self-assessment questionnaire (the “SAQ – Specialised PFS”). This self-assessment questionnaire includes, based on the applicable specialised professional of the financial sector licence(s):

  • A dedicated section for registrar agents, client communication agents and administrative agents of the financial sector acting as UCI administrators, within the meaning of Circular CSSF 22/811 (“UCIA Circular”), authorised according to Articles 25, 29-1, and 29-2 of the Law of 5 April 1993 on the financial sector, as amended (“LFS”). This section replaces the information in Annex B of the UCIA Circular.
  • A dedicated section for professional depositaries of assets other than financial instruments for UCIs domiciled in Luxembourg, authorised according to Article 26-1 of the LFS. This section replaces the information elements on the depositary function set out in Annex 1 of Circular CSSF 18/697.

The reference date for the data to be reported is 31 December 2025 and the submission should be received by 31 March 2026.

Reports will be collected exclusively through the two methods below, free of charge:

  • Via a form within the dedicated eDesk procedure
  • Automated submission via API (S3 protocol)
