Proposal to appoint Ms Pascale Toussing as Director at the CSSF

At its meeting on 16 January 2026, the Government in Council decided to propose to His Royal Highness the Grand Duke the appointment of Ms Pascale Toussing as Director of the CSSF.

Drawing on her experience in both the public and financial sectors, Ms Toussing has served as Adviser to the Minister of Finance since 2024.  She previously headed the Inland Revenue (from 2017 to 2023) and held strategic positions within the Ministry of Finance. She also served in several public bodies such as the Commissariat aux Assurances, the Economic and Social Council, and various boards of directors.

Ms Pascale Toussing holds a degree in economics from the Université catholique de Louvain, and will bring her expertise to bear on the CSSF’s supervisory mission.
