Mr Davy Reinard sworn in by the Minister of Finance as Director Resolution

Mr Davy Reinard has been sworn in today by the Minister of Finance, Mr Gilles Roth, as Director Resolution at the CSSF as from 1 April 2026. The Director Resolution shall chair the Resolution Board that carries out the tasks and exercises the powers conferred on the CSSF as the Luxembourg resolution authority.

Mr Reinard, who is a qualified economist, joined the CSSF in November 1998. He was seconded to the Secretariat of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision from 1 April 2013 to 30 June 2017. His competence areas include, among others, the prudential supervision of banks, the prudential policy and the management of risks and internal models. He is member of various working groups at the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the European Commission and the EBA. Moreover, he has co-chaired the EBA Task Force on Model Validation (TFMV) since the end of 2017.
