Circular CSSF 21/783 (outdated)

Following ESMA’s decision to withdraw the ESMA Guidelines on the MiFID II/MiFIR obligations on market data, CSSF Circular 21/783, which incorporated these Guidelines into the CSSF’s administrative practice, will become outdated from 23 August 2026.

ESMA’s decision to withdraw the Guidelines is based on the fact that the subject matters which they covered have been incorporated into Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/1156 of 12 June 2025 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 600/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards on the obligation to make market data available to the public on a reasonable commercial basis.
