Public consultation by FATF by 21 August 2026 on guidance to increase payment transparency – “travel rule”

The CSSF would like to bring to your attention the public consultation on guidance related to the implementation of the updated Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Recommendation 16 that aims at increasing payment transparency by 2030.

The public consultation was launched on 24 June 2026 by the FATF. It will remain open until 21 August 2026.

Contributions from the private sector are strongly encouraged by the CSSF.
