The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) will host its first-ever Data Day on 2 December 2025 — a landmark event bringing together regulators, market participants, and data experts to discuss how innovation and digitalisation can simplify regulatory reporting and enhance data-driven supervision.
The theme of this year’s event, “Burden Reduction in the Digitalisation Era”, will focus on how smarter use of data and technology can reduce compliance costs while improving data quality and usability.
