CSSF-IOSCO séminaire commun/atelier sur la surveillance LBC/FT du secteur des valeurs mobilières (uniquement en anglais)

Communiqué de presse 19/51

On 21 and 22 October 2019, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (the “CSSF”) and the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (the “IOSCO”) jointly hosted in Luxembourg a one and a half day seminar/workshop on AML/CFT supervision for the Securities Sector in which participated 50 representatives and speakers from 37 ordinary or associate members of IOSCO.

One year after the publishing of the FATF RBA Guidance on the securities sector, the objective of this event was to discuss the key components and challenges of a Risk Based Supervision and discuss best practices in order to promote supervisory convergence.

The participants had the opportunity to exchange on these topics with representatives of IOSCO, EUROPOL, the Luxembourg Financial Intelligence Unit and of the FATF.

The CSSF would like to express its sincere appreciation to all the participants and speakers for their participation in this successful event.
